I recently retired from Federal Civil Service in Jan 2009. I am currently working as a Senior Consultant for ALIS Inc , BAH, and G3, management, and technology firms. My current interests are geographic information systems technologies  and a project called TxMAP, a GIS based crime-mapping system deployed across Texas and an open source learning, education and training organization -LETSI .
I retired with thirty plus years of civil service with the US Army, and spent the last ten years serving as Director of the Army Training Information Directorate, responsible for the management and development of training software systems that develop, store/deliver, and manage Army training in both its institution and units. My primary focus was the reengineering of Army training information systems and its ability to support advance-distributed learning.  My current interest are in web enabled immersive learning environments for individuals, leaders , teams and staff; KM, HPT and LETSI
